Today we left we the Hotel at 9:00, we were all late as usual, and Akins got to do 10 push ups for being late! :) We then drove to "The Dirty River" to go river rafting. The drive there was probably THIRTY min, the shortest of our rides for the day. The rapids on the river were a class III, they were life-threatening mountains of water.... hmmm cheesy? Our guides stopped us about half way down the river and cut up fresh pineapple and watermelon, it was delicious and re-energized us for the remaining ride down. WE finally made it to the end and fought for the bus to change into warm clothes as it was pouring rain on us! We then all climbed into the bus for a THREE hour ride to La Fortuna to our hotel. After settling into the hotel we left for the Hot Springs for another THRITY minute drive! Needless to say, the Hot Springs were Hot! The various pools were any where ranging from 85-100 degrees F. The Buffet later at the Hot Springs was amazing with a variety of dishes.
