Crikey that's a Croc!

Crocs under the bridge that we crossed.

Today We got up early and traveled from La Fortuna all the way to Quepos. A long drive but very worth it in the end.
We made a quick pit stop at the river with the most crocodiles in Latin America.(over 3 million throughout the whole river) We were all hoping to see a dugong fall into the river and be a nice feast for all the crocodiles but no such luck.
When we arrived in Quepos we ate lunch at a local restaraunt and got a taste of real Costa Rican cuisine. We then started our journey towards Manuel Antonio National Park to enjoy some time at a private beach. Along the way, we saw some interesting animals, such as a howler monkey and a squirrel monkey. We have now seen every type of monkey in Costa Rica up close and personal. We also saw a sloth, a few iguanas, and a deer that walked within 6 inches of us. The beach was beautiful and the perfect remedy for the hot weather. All of us enjoyed our time relaxing and swimming in the Pacific Ocean. We then traveled back to Quepos to check into our amazing hotel overlooking the ocean. We spent the next hour enjoying our tropical drinks in the hot tub until dinner. Tomorrow should be an exciting day full of fun activities, many of us are planning on surfing in the morning and then kayaking in the afternoon.
